Welcome. My name is Kerrith.
The High Street Consultant was born out of a desire to help independent retailers to get the best results from their retail strategy.
Without a doubt, independent retailing in the modern age comes with some big challenges. There have been some significant changes to the industry in the last 20 years and the retailers that have survived are the ones that have robust strategies and procedures in place and have adapted, exploiting every new opportunity for selling their products.

EXPERIENCE
Throughout my career I have worked with and managed several large, family owned, independent retailers and department stores.
I have driven these businesses to achieve rapid growth through two recessions, launched new stores, websites, new epos systems and warehouses.

Within these businesses I have gained knowledge and contacts with big brands through various sectors including country clothing, cookware, housewares, DIY and hardware, linens and soft furnishings, toys, luggage, domestic appliances, furniture and giftware. Generally specialising in premium branded and own brand product.

In 2016 I received a scholarship to the "Retail Masters" residential course at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford focussing on the future and leadership of retail businesses.

I have recruited, managed and trained for success, large teams of employees and launched marketing teams, customer service teams, store and warehouse teams.
